Jr. Wolverines Spring 2023 Info
We hope everyone is having a great fall semester and is ready for some spring lacrosse! We are excited to open spring lacrosse registration for our Junior Wolverine boys. Please help us continue to grow our program by forwarding this information to any 6-8th graders you know who would enjoy the great game of lacrosse. Here are a few things to know:
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
All rising 6th – 8th grade boys in the Woodstock High School district.
WHY PLAY IN THE Spring?
Spring season is our main competitive season of the year.
COST:
$450 per player.

Parents will pay for the registration at the first practice on 1/24/2023. Checks are encouraged, but cards will be accepted with a small fee.
PRACTICES: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:45pm – 7:45pm at WHS starting January 24th.
Practices will also be held on Saturdays from 10:00am – 12:00pm until games begin.
GAMES: Games will be on Saturdays and possibly Sundays. Games will begin early March.
COACHING: Team will be coached by Keith, Kevin, Bob, and Tony.
For 6th graders: You are now moving from CYL into Jr. Wolverines. Middle Schoolers play for the official feeder program for Woodstock Lacrosse, Jr. Wolverines! In Cherokee County, Middle School vs. Elementary School is handled differently. An explanation is on our website here: https://woodstocklacrosse.com/faq
For 5th graders. CYL is still the place to register. Go to parks and rec as always for registration.
What If you are not Woodstock district-ed? The Cherokee middle school programs are always willing to work together. Woodstock, Cherokee, River Ridge etc. Our goal is for kids to play and have fun. Especially in the fall. So, if you want to be here or there, it can be worked out.

We are going to have booths at the upcoming school open houses at WMS and FMS.
New this season:
· We will be playing in the NewTown recreation league this year. This will give the boys opportunities to play against a larger variety of teams.
